Future growth focus and investment in the spotlight with autumn production events

As autumn sets in, STADA Thornton & Ross prepared for a strong end to 2023 and took inspiration for our future growth with a visit from STADA Group CEO Peter Goldschmidt.

First up, great engagement with our teams was top of mind at the STADA UK Town Hall held at our Linthwaite production site in Yorkshire.

Peter, along with UK General Manager Nigel Stephenson and Tech Ops VP Pav Niewiarowski held an engaging discussion with hundreds of people from across our business, as we heard how we can build a super growth culture and collaborate stronger than ever in the UK to achieve our purpose of Caring For People's Health as a Trusted Partner.

Later on, a production site tour focused on how STADA's unique growth mindset and market-leading performance requires constant investment in our production capacity – and illustrated the great strides we are making.

A major investment in our Thornton & Ross production facility located near Huddersfield is enabling us to meet growing demand for consumer skincare brands such as Cetraben®, Eurax®, Oilatum®, Savlon® and to reinforce our role as the leading supplier of emollients to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).

Peter said: “I could witness our One STADA mindset in Huddersfield where Engineering, Production, Commercial and Manufacturing Science & Technology are collaborating to expand our factory with a 6,000kg batch-size manufacturing suite for ‘semi-solid’ products such as creams and ointments.

“This investment underpins STADA's ambitious plans in OTC and prescription dermatology, while strengthening security of supply and bringing further investment to the north of England. All the best to the team and a big thank you for preparing to go live with production starting already by the end of 2023.”
